No One Knows Why Mai Ezz Eldin Is Trending, and Egyptians Are Freaking Out

We woke up today to the news of Mai Ezz Eldin trending on Twitter. We, of course, wondered why Eldin was taking over the social media platform by storm. Is she okay? Did something happen? Did she win an award? What is happening?

After many hours of carefully conducting detailed research and thoroughly analyzing the Twitterverse, we found out that Egyptians are freaking the eff out because they don’t know why Eldin is trending on Twitter to begin with.
