Egyptians Torched Muslim Brotherhood Headquarters

While 90 percent of the country was in Tahrir and Iltahedya, a couple of people managed to make it to the Muslim Brotherhood Headquarters. Dozens, and dozens of protesters attacked the headquarters by throwing stones and firebombs at the building until a raging fire erupted at the ruling party’s headquarters.

The building is located in Cairo’s Moqattam district; the protestors managed to storm inside the headquarters and throw things out of the window, while others were seen leaving with items, including furniture.

There was no sign of police or fire service protection for the Brotherhood’s head office, where witnesses said guards inside the building fired guns on the attackers.

Security sources said 5 people were killed in hours of fighting around the besieged building, and medical sources said more than 100 were wounded.
