UK – Mega Monday Shopping Spree!

Christmas is just around the corner… Well sort of.. And shoppers are heavy at work, especially today where on “Mega Monday” today is the last day for online shoppers to get their presents before Christmas. 

Why is this such a big deal? Well today will be set as the busiest shopping day of all time! Up more then a third from last years sales, more and more shoppers have flocked to the online market to conduct their purchasing rather then going down to the beautifully decorated department stores.  

With today’s shocking numbers it does not seem even more surprising that sales in the UK alone this December should go up to £5 billion.  With Credit card Visa expecting up to 6.8 million transactions from its UK users, up 21% from last year.
