Calling All Musicians to the #MarsBattleoftheBands Competition

All you underground musicians out there, its time to get out of your parent’s garage! Live Nation Middle East is on the hunt to expose all the hidden talent within the UAE. With that in mind, they are launching the first-ever nationwide amateur talent search to perform at the Thirty Seconds to Mars pre-show concert through #MarsBattleoftheBands competition!
Yes, you heard right, Thirty Seconds to Mars’ concert on Friday, April 10th will feature an armature performance by a local band, or a solo artist. Not only will the winners get to preform in the Dubai World Trade Centre Arena for the band, but they will also have the pleasure of preforming for the 10,000 fans watching! This type of exposure could be just the big break you were searching for!

The #MarsBattleoftheBands competition is open to all UAE and GCC residents. There is no age limit or restriction to the number of band members. To enter, all you have to do is film a 30 second video of your act and upload it on twitter, Facebook, or other social media platforms with the hashtags #MarsBattleoftheBands and #MARSinDubai. Hurry up and post because submissions are allowed from March 2nd until March 23rd!

Composed of various distinguished members of this region’s music industry, the judging panel will choose the top 10, and final 5 acts. The members of the band itself however will choose the winner of the competition! This lucky act will be announced on April 5th.

For those of you just hoping to watch, tickets for the concert itself can be purchased online through ticketmaster.ae, or at various other locations in the UAE. They are priced at 295 AED for general admission (with fan pit access is 395 AED), and 550 AED for VIP admission!
