Coca-Cola’s New Bottles Are Made of Actual Ice

1

We all know there’s nothing better than an ice-cold Coca-Cola on a hot summery day. The problem is, it’s so hard to keep that Coke nice and cool in the Egyptian heat – particularly if you’re, say, sitting on a beach in Sahel.

Luckily, Coke itself has come to the rescue with an ingeniously chill idea: this summer they’re serving us Coke in bottles made from ice. Literally. Yes, you heard that right.

Coca-Cola has developed a way to manufacture ice bottles that are true to the glass Coke bottles we know and love, complete with the soda company’s iconic lettering etched in the ice, and is creating the Coke-filled creations straight at Egyptian beaches this summer.

We can picture it already: sitting on the beach, toes in the sand, working on perfecting that golden summer tan, drinking down our Coke to the very last ice-cold drop. Brb while we ask our bosses to take the rest of the day off work so can we go to Sahel already!

WE SAID THIS: This is the best news ever, begad!
