Swimmer Farida Osman Wins Bronze Medal at World Championships

Egyptian swimmer Farida Osman just added a smile to Egyptian faces. The athlete won the bronze medal in the women’s 50m butterfly final at the 2019 World Swimming Championships in Gwangju.

Osman came in third after finishing the women’s 50m butterfly in 25.47 seconds. The gold medal went to Swedish swimmer Sarah Sjoestroem while the silver medal winner was Ranomi Kromowidjojo from the Netherlands.

Osman won Egypt’s first medal in the 50m butterfly’s race at the FINA World Aquatics Championships in Budapest two years ago. Following the glorious win, the swimmer posted a thank you message on social media to her Egyptian fans.
