Ramadan Tents Galore

0

It really scares us how time has flown, where has the summer gone, how has this year sped by so fast, why it was only yesterday when we were 21 (Ok shhh, let us revel in that fantasy for awhile)

Well with time flying, Ramadan is knocking on our door, and all our favorite tents and outlets have come back with their Ramadan campaigns in full force, long gone are the days where we had one Ramadan Kheima everyone went to.

Who out there is old school enough to remember Sohbageya where all the celebs, belly dancers, and elite used to mingle together at the World Trade Center..Ahhh the good old days!

Now fast forward maybe something like 18 years later and we come to today! Let us break down where it’s actually worth going to this Ramadan!

Meet Abdel Wahab, Zamalek’s Lebanese gem, located at 33 Abu El Feda. Marking it’s one year Anniversary, after opening last Ramadan, Abdel Wahab this year is sure to wow you with its new Ramadan menu, as well as weekly theme nights. This Friday they kick back with a night dedicated to all the old school Lebanese stars.

Make sure you reserve because we can assure you that this place is always fully booked, and make sure to ask for the Chocolate Mint shisha, it’s to die for!

La Pietra resonates with one thing in our head, as being an original, rarely do we in Egypt see anything that maintains its quality and client base over the years.

Being the first movers and shakers to come into the market, La Pietra this ramada is shaking things up with a totally renovated venue in Mohandessin, yes you heard us, brand spanking new!

Not only that but we personally had the pleasure of tasting their Ramadan menu, and we have to say that Molokheya and Fatta has us waiting for the menu to be launched!

Get on the guest list for the relaunch, lots of yummy surprises!

Al Nil is here for yet another year to wow us. Hassan Abaza has created the brand and made sure it’s stuck around year after year, making it a staple in our yearly Ramadan Plans.

This year like last, you’ll find the tent located at the Imperial boat, sponsored by OSN, which could only mean one thing! Olympics marathon, so we expect to see all you sports fans hitting up the kheima!

Tangine is back again at the 1st mall, and we know what that brings with it its contemporary yet traditional setting, and the finest cuisine along with their special shisha flavors.

This year Sequoia teams up with Eklego and designer Amina Khalil, to bring to you a one of a kind Ramadan experience! The one thing we truly love about the venue is how every year they transform it like no other, truly going all out.

Don’t expect anything less than being dazzled, always with their great food, fantastic shisha, and that view!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stand at Bab El Kahera? Well now Le Capitol at the roof top of the Novotel gives you that opportunity!

The view is the selling point, literally a 360 degree view of our beautiful city at night, is not to be missed.

Last but certainly not the least our favorite Wings restaurant WIFbyEE is throwing us a Ramadan menu like never before! Delectable sehours, fetars that will make you salivate and not to mention in one of Cairo’s best settings.

Last year we lived there, this year we’re beyond eager to try the Ramadan menu, let alone that IPAD everyone can win courtesy of sprite!
