So funny how New Year’s Eve seems like last week and it’s already September. Fall is knocking our doors and as much as we can fight it, we need to get ready for it. Every lady needs a good transition between summer fun and fall drama. The runways for fall 2013 had unforgettable signature looks; here are 5 wearable trends that will get you from summer to fall easily.

Dark Berry Lips

It can be easily done with matte dark berry lipstick and a 1-2 shades darker lip pencil. Over the years dark lips has been connected to gothic looks; however this fall it’s been seen on the runways a lot and more importantly on red-carpets. Since dark lips are more of a dramatic look, never wear this before 6 PM. RSVP to a party and dazzle them with your new dramatic berry dark lips.

To name a new … Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana , Stella McCartney and Narciso Rodriguez all went on the oversized clutch this fall. It’s a great thing because it can give that manager or serious business look and with the right dress you can take it to a cocktail party. Matte Leather and structured prints are the way to go with these clutches.

Dangling Earrings

They are making a comeback, finally. You don’t have to through away your stud earrings; however you need to stack on a couple of these darlings. From metallic to pearl to crystal and even feathers, dangling earrings are making quite the statements this fall therefore investing in a pair that suits your style is probably a good decision.

Varsity Jackets

They made a little appearance last fall and they are still continuing with several appearances this fall. Rumor has it, they are the new blazers. The trend comes in all fabrics and details. While leather can still be a far fetch, going to tweed is still elegant and not too wintery. Many embellishments can be added, however stay away from spikes and studs; they are officially over.  Get your in Navy, Grey or Black.

Coated Metallic skinny jeans

While the straight leg jeans are making sort of a comeback, the skinny jeans are not ready to leave just yet. Coated Metallic in Bronze or light gold are a great way to brighten up a dull top. If you are going to wear them, make sure to frame them with black so they can get the center stage. Definitely an evening look, cause personally if I see someone’s wearing them in the morning I would say they are doing the walk of shame.image-4
