Mickey Channel Temporarily Shut Down and Egyptians Absolutely Lost It
Who said cartoon is just for kids? If you’ve seen people freaking out all over your newsfeed over something called Mickey and you’re completely oblivious to it, let us explain what’s going on.
There is a glorious cartoon channel that most of Egypt’s kids and adults are addicted to. For some reason, the channel stopped working for a day, and we all just assumed that there has been shut down because we don’t deserve nice things.
Major General Ahmed Anis, Head of NileSat, stated that the channel is not listed on the NileSat satellite, and it is not their responsibility to close it. 24 hours later, the Mickey channel rebroadcasted at its original frequency, 11257. However, we just can’t get over Egyptians’ hilarious reactions. These next memes are the definition of our nation’s avwara (extra) and we love it.
WE SAID THIS: We love the Internet.
