If you are a big fan of the arts, this is an event worth checking out. The Future Shorts Film Festival brings art, film and live music together in order to create a full art experience for a diverse audience.

The festival is currently taking place in over 150 cities and 60 countries, showcasing a diverse program of the most exciting short films from around the world, along with live music and visual art.

The films include BAFTA winner and Oscar nominee “A Morning Stroll,” Clermont-Ferrand winner “The Guest,” SXSW winner “Notes on Biology,” and the amazing Brazilian short film “Street Vendor Cinema”. There will also be a live music performance, followed by the screening of shorts films with breaks in-between, and most importantly: FREE COTTON CANDY & POPCORN!

The screening will take place on August 15 in one of Cairo’s favorite cultural centers, Darb 1718, from 9:00 PM – 12:30 AM. There will be a 50 LE entrance fee, and tickets will be sold at the door.

Tickets are limited, so be sure to make it on time. We’d hate for you to miss it!
