Healthy habits are better maintained in kids when you start them young, and — let’s face it — you’ll have a higher chance of keeping them interested when you make it fun!

This is what Muricata, the youth enrichment arm of Wild Guanabana, aims to do with Egypt’s first-ever kidathon in El Gouna on Friday, Nov. 27.

Two short and sweet two-kilometer races will take place at El Gouna’s Abu Tig Marina starting at 9:00 AM for kids ages six to nine, who must run with a guardian, while the older kids get to run solo in a second run.

After the winners’ ceremony, Muricata will hold wilderness workshops and arts activities for the entire family to enjoy.

Registration for the kidathon is free at this link. Check out the race map below and head to the Facebook event page for more info.
