This Egyptian Tourism Video Will Make You Lose Faith in Humanity

Over the past few years, Egypt has been spending millions of dollars on multiple tourism campaigns in hopes of bringing tourists back to Egypt and getting the country’s tourism back to how it used to be. Unlike the incredible #ThisIsEgypt campaign, a new video surfaced online that has gone viral…for all the wrong reasons!

The video which was shared on Al Jazeera Egypt’s Facebook page and supposedly aired on Egypt’s national TV shows a reporter at the Egyptian museum interviewing a woman who looks like one of the museum officials.

What we did learn from the video though is that the cabinet somehow held around 365 small statues, five boxes and a “shokhlela.” We also learned that the cabinet used to have more statues, if it weren’t for the supervisors. Which left us with one major question; what did the supervisors do?

Did they steal the statues? Did they break them? Did they hide them in more boxes? Did they store them to make room for the shokhlela? Can someone investigate those shady supervisors?

WE SAID THIS: No seriously, what did the supervisors do?
