Egyptian Team Leader Wins International Prestigious ‘ELITE’ Award

Young Egyptians have been proving lately that they’re quite the title hunters in the international arena; not only as sportsmen but also as employees and team leaders.

Ahmed Haggag, a team leader at the Nile Ritz-Carlton, is a live evidence that supports this claim. It has been announced that Haggag has won the international prestigious award “ELITE”.

The prestigious ELITE Awards stands for Excellence, Leadership, Inspiration, Teamwork, and Execution. The awards aim to celebrate leaders and teams from Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing and eCommerce. Award winners are selected based on their leadership skills, outstanding revenue results, superior customer service, and community involvement.

Nominations are submitted globally for leaders and teams from all over Marriott International (Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Middle East & Africa) competing for this global award. The winners were selected from over 1,000 entries across the Marriott, Ritz-Carlton and Starwood portfolio.

Haggag, the Catering Leader at the Nile Ritz-Carlton, successfully brought Cairo the prestigious award. Haggag has also achieved 48% above his goal, in 2016, driving millions of dollars in revenue to our budget. This is a huge breakthrough for the hotel; given that they only opened two years ago next to moguls in the international market operating for decades.

WE SAID THIS: We’re proud of you Haggag.
