“The next EDM star,” according to Billboard magazine, has not just garnered the most streams in the history of SoundCloud but has also had his share peaking the worldwide Spotify chart. His first track ‘Firestone’ got over 7 million plays on both SoundCloud and YouTube, and over 40 million plays on Spotify when it first came out. In addition, the 24-year-old Norwegian mastermind just won the Best International Video award for “It Ain’t Me” with Selena Gomez.
He has succeeded in establishing himself as an EDM music sensation as he popularized trop house as a new genre. No wonder why we’re expecting the region to be on fire.
