What you’ll need:

  • Sharpie
  • Knobs
  • Cardboard box
  • Muffin pan

What to do:

1.  Color out from the center of each knob in long strokes down to the brass base. Let the marker strokes radiate out from the center. The overlapping marks will give you a variegated look, like malachite or jadeite.

2.  Once you’ve got them all colored, poke them through any cardboard box to stable them and leave them over night for the sharpie to dry. Take care, sharpies smear easily.

3. Put them all into a mini muffin pan and heat the oven to 350 degrees. Pop them in and baked them for 30 minutes.

4. Screw them back on, and there you have it!

Looking rich and beautiful. Who would have thought a sharpie could have done that.
