Couple Killed Themselves in Hurghada Because They Wanted to Become ‘Angels in Heaven’
A couple in Hurghada killed themselves to see if there is life after death, The Mirror reported.
The bodies of a wife with dual Irish and American citizenship and her Egyptian husband were found floating in the pool of a friend’s villa in Hurghada. A video message from the couple was found where they say: “Sweetheart, this is our last night in this world, and tomorrow we will become angels in heaven. Our spirits are not happy on earth and deserve to live in a happy eternal life.” The camera recorded them as they drowned.
The police thought that the couple had been murdered, but there was no indication of that whatsoever. Nothing was also stolen from the villa, Major General Hossam Kamal, the director of Red Sea Security, told the media.
