Ahmed El-Fishawy Under Social Media Attack from Fans and Celebrities

Everyone obviously knows the big mammoth of an event, Gouna Film Festival, started yesterday with one hell of a big bang. Celebrities flocked from all over the Middle East, as well as the West, to attend GFF.

The man of the hour, Ahmed El-Fishawy, was on everyone’s mind — mainly because of the premiere of his much-talked about movie Sheikh Jackson. But also, there’s another reason. El-Fishawy was caught on video (watch above) saying “khara” (meaning shit) which was a big fat no, no. The young actor uttered that word when he was about to play his movie, to which he referred to the supposed not-so-good screen as “khara.” Needless to say, social media didn’t take his comment quite well.

Here are some of the comments on social media:

The post reads: He does not know respect.

The post reads: He is the son of 60 bitches.

Even celebrity, Ghada Abdel Razek, had something to say — and it wasn’t good

The post reads: You represented Egypt in the worst way possible.
