Actress Emy Salem Rants About AIS Fees to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi

Every parent in Egypt has been in shock ever since the Egyptian pound floatation decision was made. While every citizen is suffering in their own way, parents — in particular — are finding it challenging to offer their children the best of what Egypt has to offer.

The rise in school fees is tragic, the supply list will cost you a kidney. Parents have been downgrading all the products they buy and every service they get, but the prices are still exhausting and draining. Egyptian actress Emy Salem posted a video on her YouTube channel as a plea to president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to interfere with international schools’ situation.

Salem starts her complaint by explaining that while she has recieved her education abroad, she prefers to teach her kids in Egypt to preserve their sense of loyalty to the country. With three boys going to American International School, the actress explains that she will not transfer her kids as she doesn’t have to accept a lesser quality of education because she refuses to be ripped off.
