Today when the Wi-Fi stops for just a couple minutes, basically everyone has an existential crisis and life stops until the Wi-Fi comes back on and everything’s right with the world. Well, imagine a world where not only is Internet not everywhere, but there was also no Instagram or Snapchat… I know, scary thought — I mean, how else would everyone know what you’re doing every moment of every day?

Contrary to popular belief, that was not a century ago. Surprisingly enough, that time was just ten years ago! People actually talked to one another and kids didn’t act like they were having a midlife crisis before the age of ten. Thank God we’ve moved past that.
